LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team travels to Corpus Christi this weekend for the H.E.B. Tennis Invitational to be held at the H.E.B. Tennis Center in Corpus Christi. Teams competing at the tournament include No. 15 TCU, No. 58 Tulsa, No. 61 Nevada-Las Vegas, No. 42 William & Mary and No. 31 Washington. Tech comes into the tournament ranked No. 38 in the nation with a record of 3-2.

The Red Raiders will face William & Mary in their first match Friday morning. They will then play either Washington or UNLV on Saturday and will face a yet to be decided opponent on Sunday.

"This tournament features some great teams and outstanding individual players," men's head coach Tim Siegel said. "Our whole schedule from here on out is very tough. It will be a challenging trip and should help us prepare for our Big 12 opener against Texas."

The men are led by junior Borut Martincevic, who has split time between the No. 1 and 2 singles positions this season. The team also features sophomore Jevgenij Cariov at the No. 3 position. Cariov is a perfect 5-0 on the season in singles play.
