LUBBOCK, Texas - The 28th-ranked Texas Tech University men's tennis team fell behind early, losing the doubles point but rallied for a 4-3 win against Oklahoma State University on Friday.

The Cowboys swept all three doubles matchups but could only watch while Tech took four of six singles matches.

Ryan Shupe got things rolling for the Red Raiders with a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. singles over Matt Prentice. Shupe is the 88th-ranked singles player in the nation. Also winning for Tech was Jevgenij Cariov at No. 3 singles, Adam Baranowski (No. 4 singles) and Dustin Hawk (No. 5 singles).

The Red Raiders will be in action again on April 18 at home against the University of Kansas. The match is slated to begin at 1:30 pm.
