LUBBOCK, Texas - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its final regular season poll on Tuesday evening, and some slight movement occurred for Texas Tech.

The Red Raiders fell three spots from No. 19 to No. 22, while the Lady Raiders held firm at No. 21.

The slight shift did not affect the Red Raiders' first round opponent in the NCAA Championships - Cal Poly - who held firm at No. 63. But it did see a slight shift for the Lady Raiders' first round opponent, as Utah climbed two spots to No. 37.

On the men's side, Raony Carvalho fell from No. 75 to No. 79, while Gonzalo Escobar climbed from No. 43 to No. 40. As a tandem, Carvalho and Escobar moved up one spot from 19th to 18th in the last poll before the NCAA Championships.

For the Lady Raiders, Samantha Adams fell from No. 104 to No. 117 in women's singles. Adams, who teams with Kenna Kilgo in doubles, soared past their No. 28 doubles ranking to No. 19. It is the first ever that a Lady Rady has been ranked in the Top 20 in singles or doubles.

Both teams return to action this weekend on opposite coasts. The Red Raiders head to Berkeley, Calif., while the Lady Raiders travel to Coral Gables, Fla.

The final team rankings will be released May 29, while the final individual rankings are set to be released on June 6.
