LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech men's tennis players Michael Breler and James Wilson both won their respective consolation brackets Sunday as the Red Raiders completed the Baylor HEB Invitational.

In the A Draw Consolation bracket, Breler opened the day with a 6-3, 6-3, victory over Texas A&M's Chris Chirico. In the finals, Breler won the tie-break first set, 7-6 (4), over Anton Bobytskyi of Oklahoma State, before completing the match with a 6-3 second-set victory.

The road to the B Draw Consolation bracket finals was more difficult for Wilson, however, as he took Michael Dierberger of Wisconsin to three sets, before escaping with a 7-6 (5), 5-7, 1-0 (5), victory. Wilson was able to take the final match in straight sets over Wichita State's Scott McCormick, winning 7-6 (5), 6-4.

The Red Raiders continue their fall schedule next weekend, traveling to Tulsa, Okla. for the All-American Championship, Oct. 4-12.
