Two members of the Texas Tech men's tennis squad will compete in the Midland Invitational this weekend in Midland, Texas, Fri., Oct. 20 through Sun., Oct. 22. Co-captain Borut Martincevic and sophomore Clay Estes will make the trip for the Red Raiders.

Six teams will be participating in the Midland Invitational with each team bringing two players. Joining Tech will be Baylor, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas.

"I'm looking forward to getting back on the courts. This tournament is important because we need to do well against regional opponents. After this weekend we only have one tournament and the fall season will be over," head coach Tim Siegel said.

Entering the contest undefeated for the fall season, Estes is posting a 3-0 record. Both players will team-up together to play doubles.

Following the Midland Invitational, the Red Raiders will close their fall season by competing in the ITA Region VI Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, Thrus., Oct. 26 through Mon., Oct. 30.
