Instruction/Goals:
To provide each tennis player with an opportunity to develop and improve tennis skills with an emphasis on good training techniques. The staff will include Texas Tech players who have experience working with young players. Two goals for campers are to have fun and work hard.

Enrollment:
No camp in Texas will have a better student teacher ratio. The camps have a limited enrollment on a first-come, first-serve basis. Day camp is limited to 20 campers. You are encouraged to send in your application and deposit as soon as possible.

New NCAA rules allow high school seniors to attend if they have not signed a letter of intent to play a sport for a college or university.

Day Camp:
Runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 26-29. Meet at 8:45 a.m. at the men's varsity courts (8th and University). Cost is $300. Please bring a sack lunch.

Overnight Camp:
Check-in: 3:00-3:30 p.m. Sunday at Stangel/Murdough hall (all campers).
Check-out: Campers can be picked up at 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
Cost: $325.00 for commuters and $395.00 for Residents. Residents will have meals provided from Sunday dinner through Thursday lunch. Commuters will have only lunch provided.
Schedule:
Morning Session - 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Afternoon Session - 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Evening Activity - 6:30 p.m.

Deposit and Refunds:
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required with each application and the remainder is due two weeks before the beginning of the session. No refunds will be issued for late arrival or early departure due to limited enrollment and administrative costs.

Facilities:
Play will be on the Texas Tech University courts including four indoor courts at Tech's athletic training center.

What to Bring:
Bring a swim suit, hat, notebook, toiletries, jump rope, laundry bag, water jug, sunscreen, spending money, bedding and leisure clothing for nightly activities.

Camp Features:
The camps feature individualized instructions, 5-6 hours of instruction and supervised play, daily lectures on practice, training and strategy, social & recreational activities, singles and doubles tournaments, volley, serve, overhead and groundstroke contests and team tennis competitions. Campers receive t-shirts and additional camp giveaways. Each camper will also receive a video analyzed by Coach Siegel on their strokes and helpful tips to elevate their game to the next level.
