Wildcats Upset Lady Red Raiders

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Andria Jones scored 20 points and Britt Jacobson added 16, 10 assists and eight rebounds to lead Kansas State to a 76-68 upset of Texas Tech in the Big 12 Conference Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri.

Missy Decker added 18 points and Kayna Hester had 11 and nine rebounds for the Wildcats, who started the game with a 15-2 burst and never allowed Texas Tech closer than five points.

Kansas State shot 52 percent (28-of-58) from the field and held a 35-26 rebounding advantage.

Alicia Thompson scored 26 points and Rene Hannebutt added 20 for the Red Raiders (18-8), who trailed 36-29 at halftime. The Red Raiders shot 47 percent (26-of-55), including 8-of-17 from behind the arc.
