Tech Takes the Floor For First Time Under Whitaker

As a junior: Played in eight games...scored three points vs. Washington...had three points vs. Iowa State...had two points vs. Texas A&M.

Cisco Junior College: Named conference Freshman of the Year...a two-time first team all-conference selection...a two-time first team all-region honoree...named Academic All-American...team advanced to regional semifinals in 2002...averaged 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists,while shooting 41 percent from three-point range and 82 percent from the free throw line...junior college coach was Ronnie Hearne.

High School: 2000 graduate of class 2A Cisco High...was district MVP...named first team all-state and first team all-region...named to the Big Country Super Team...selected as the Big Country 2A Player of the Year...team was bi-district champions...averaged 26 points, 14 rebounds and five assists, while shooting 59 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line...also participated in track, cross country and softball...track team finished as runner-ups in class 2A...claimed the silver medal in the 4x100 relay and the bronze medal in the 4x200 relay...high school basketball coach was Darla Henry.
