Kristy Curry

Texas Tech Head Coach

On the three-pointer that gave Tech the lead

"I thought a couple of possessions earlier that we just wanted her to catch and shoot, and she finally did when it mattered most. I was happy for her. It was a big shot, and it takes guts to hit that shot. She hit it, and she hits it all the time. I thought there were a lot of plays throughout the second half that were really critical."

On the big road win

"Anytime you go on the road in this league and still win, it's important. It's only one game, and this league is a marathon, not a sprint. At 12:01, we have to let this go. It doesn't matter tomorrow morning, but it will matter in the end. We have to take care of business. Being mature enough to handle tonight will be important."

On containing Toni Young

"I think our No. 1 worry, defensively, was that we just want to be disruptive. I thought we were able to keep them off balance a little bit. When she did catch, we made it difficult for her and tried to run a second person at her. They're much more than her. Bias is so good. At halftime, she was really hurting us. They're so physical and so good on the offensive glass. Their big four and Suttles are really seasoned and really good. I like their balance, but tonight, we just had a little more balance."

Casey Morris

Texas Tech Senior Guard

On how the Lady Raiders were able to come back

"We've been talking about maturity all year, and I think that was part of it. It was about keeping our composure and making sure that just because we get down we know that the game is a game of runs. We have to make sure we stay positive and keep pushing. It's a lot easier when you have five leaders on the floor instead of just one. I think that works to our advantage."

Chynna Brown

Texas Tech Senior Guard

On how the Raiders were able to come back

"We held our composure, and we've been in situations like that, being down in the first half and having to play hard and aggressive. It's not something new to us. We always know how to handle it."
