No. 10 Texas Tech Escapes With a Win Over Oklahoma, 89-87

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Angie Braziel scored 30 points and grabbed eight rebounds as No. 10 Texas Tech rallied to beat Oklahoma 89-87 on Wednesday.
Rene Hanebutt added 15 points for Texas Tech (18-2, 7-1 Big 12) and Keitha Dickerson had 14.
LaNeisha Caufield led the Sooners (8-9, 2-5) with 28 points. Stacey Dales had 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Oklahoma led 39-27 at the half as the Sooners hit 5 of 9 3-pointers.
But the Red Raiders rallied and never trailed in the final eight minutes. OU tied 79-79 with 2:32 left, but never got within two after that.
Texas Tech shot just 42 percent from the field in the first half but heated up in the second half and hit 20 of 35 attempts in the final 20 minutes. Texas Tech shot 51 percent for the game, making 30 of 59 attempts.
Texas Tech also heated up at the free throw line in the final 20 minutes, making 20 of 35 shots. The Red Raiders made 24 of 42 in the game, or 57 percent.
Oklahoma also shot 51 percent from the field, making 32 of 63 shots. The Sooners didn't make a 3-pointer in the final 20 minutes, missing all four attempts.
The Sooners outrebounded Texas Tech 42-37.
