LUBBOCK, Texas - Plenette Pierson scored 25 points to lead No. 12 Texas Tech to a 92-79 win over Texas A&M in the teams' 50th meeting Saturday night.

The victory extended Texas Tech's home winning streak to 41 games, which leads the nation. The Lady Raiders are 48-2 against Texas A&M.

The Lady Raiders (17-3, 8-1) used a 15-8 run in the final four minutes to seal the win.

Freshman Jia Perkins added 20 points for Texas Tech. Casey Jackson and Jolee Ayers each scored 17.

Texas A&M closed within six, 77-71, with 4:52 remaining. But Perkins scored eight points in the final minutes to thwart the Aggies' comeback.

Jaynetta Saunders, the Big 12 scoring leader, scored 23 points for the Aggies. LaToya Rose added 14 and Janae Derrick 12.
