BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Rene Hanebutt, who scored a career-high 33 points against Nebraska three days ago, had 27 Wednesday night to lead No. 11 to an 83-71 victory over Colorado.

Texas Tech (24-3 overall, 13-2 Big 12) had to rally to overcome Colorado (13-12, 6-9), which shot nearly 60 percent from the field in the first half to lead 38-33 at the break.

The Lady Raiders, who shot only 30 percent from the field (11-of-36) in the first half, switched things in the second half, outshooting Colorado 63 percent to 41.

Joining Hanebutt in double figures for Texas Tech were Melinda Schmucker with 13 and Angie Braziel with 12.

Nikki Weddle led Colorado with 16, Linda Lappe had 14 and Kami Carmann and Melody Johnson had 12 each. Texas Tech hit 8-of-20 3-pointers, Colorado 4-of-10.
