LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech senior guard Chynna Brown scored 22 points to help the Lady Raiders hold off Oklahoma State, 61-53 on Wednesday night at United Spirit Arena.

Tech (21-7, 11-5 Big 12) complete its fifth season sweep of a Big 12 Conference opponent with the win over the Cowgirls (19-8, 8-8). The Lady Raiders also swept Kansas, Texas, TCU and West Virginia.

The Lady Raiders trailed 16-6 just five minutes into the game before rolling off a 29-6 run in the second half, ignited by back-to-back 3-pointers from Brown and Casey Morris, who finished with nine points. Brown would hit four treys and scored 20 points or more for the second consecutive game after leading Tech with 20 at Kansas on Sunday.

Tech carried a 35-27 advantage into the break but lost some ground momentarily when Oklahoma State rattled off an 8-0 run of its own after going down by as much as 13 while Tech went more than five minutes without a field goal, making it a 51-47 games with less than three minutes to play.

Morris capitalized on a jumper to push the lead back to six and then hit a pair of free throws along with junior Kelsi Baker's four from the charity stripe in the final minute to seal the win.

Baker finished with 12 points and six rebounds, hitting 6 of 6 free throws total.

The Lady Raiders took advantage of Oklahoma State's zone defense and grabbed 19 offensive rebounds that resulted in a 13-2 advantage in second chance points. Juniors Shauntal Nobles and Jackie Patterson chipped in from the bench with three and four points, respectively.

The win assures Tech a top four finish in the Big 12 standings, remaining in a tie for second place with No. 22 Iowa State and a two-game cushion over Oklahoma (19-9, 9-7) and West Virginia (17-10, 9-7). The Lady Raiders have already beat West Virginia twice and will face OU in the regular season finale at 7 p.m. on Monday in Lubbock.

But the Lady Raiders will first have to travel to Kansas State (13-15, 4-12) for a 12:30 p.m. bout with the Wildcats on FOX College Sports Central. Tech beat K-State, 59-50, in Lubbock on Jan. 9 and have a chance to complete an unprecedented sixth season sweep in Big 12 play. The Lady Raiders would be guaranteed no worse than a third place finish in the Big 12 with a win on Saturday.
