LUBBOCK, Texas - Aaryn Ellenberg scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds to lead three Sooners in double figures as Oklahoma beat Texas Tech, 71-62, on Wednesday night at United Spirit Arena.

Oklahoma (19-10, 11-6 Big 12) went on three key runs during the game, including an 11-2 start. OU would finish the game in similar fashion, outscoring Tech 10-3 in a four-and-a-half minute span to take a 60-49 lead after senior Jordan Barncastle closed the gap to four points with a jumper at the 7:16 mark.

Whitney Hand added 17 points while Morgan Hook scored 15.

Tech (17-12, 5-12) got on the glass often and forced 17 turnovers but only hit 19 of 64 shots (29.7 percent) while Oklahoma overcame the ball-handling troubles with a 23 of 49 showing (46.9 percent).

Casey Morris led Tech with 19 points - including three, 3-pointers - while sophomore Shauntal Nobles added 11 points and seven rebounds along with senior Jordan Barncastle's 11 points. It was the final regular season home game for Barncastle and Kierra Mallard. Mallard ended the night with just two points and five rebounds.

It was the fifth consecutive loss for the Lady Raiders for the second time this season and guarantees them the No. 9 seed at next week's Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City.

Tech will play the first play-in game at 5:30 p.m. central time on Wednesday, March 7, at Kansas City Municipal Auditorium against Texas (17-12, 7-10), Kansas (18-11, 7-10) or Oklahoma State (15-11, 7-10).
