Smalls becomes only the second Texas Tech player to start every game all four years. Erin Grant started 128 games from 2002-06. Smalls' 132 consecutive starts is the fifth-longest streak of consecutive starts among all active players in Division I women’s basketball. She was the only player on the Texas Tech roster to finish the season starting all 32 games.

Texas Tech senior guard Chynna Brown scored 17 points to lead Texas Tech on Saturday vs South Florida. Brown has scored in double figures 19 times in the last 21 games.

POSTSEASON HIGHS

Seniors Chynna Brown (17 pts), Christine Hyde (20 pts) and Kelsi Baker (15 pts) all scored career postseason highs on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament.
