Texas Tech Falls To Virginia Tech In Overtime, 71-70|

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Carrie Mason scored Virginia Tech's final four points in overtime to lead the Hokies to a 71-70 upset over No. 12 Texas Tech on Sunday.
Mason led the Hokies with 12 points, four assists and three blocked shots. Her basket and two free throws gave the Hokies a 71-68 lead with 29 seconds left.
Cisti Greenwalt's basket pulled the Lady Raiders within a point, and Mason missed two free throws with 8 seconds left. That gave Texas Tech a final possession, but Chesley Dabbs' shot from the top of the key fell short.
Mason's consecutive 3-pointers gave the Hokies their first lead at 54-51 with 4:03 left in regulation.
Virgina Tech's Kirby Copeland made 1-of-2 free throws with 28 seconds to tie the game at 60 at the end of regulation.
Nare Diawara and Erin Gibson each scored 11 points for Virginia Tech. Dawn Chriss added eight points and eight rebounds.
Texas Tech led 27-19 at halftime, and by as many as 13 in the second half. Virginia Tech had the rebounding edge, 55-44.
