DALLAS (AP) - Sharee Shepherd had 16 points and six rebounds to help lead SMU to a 72-61 win over Texas Tech on Saturday.

Shepherd was one of five SMU players to score in the double digits. Delisha Wills had 15 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Alice Severin and Brittany Gilliam each scored 12 points, and Janielle Dodds had 11.

The Mustangs (8-4) trailed 30-27 at the break, but outscored the Lady Raiders 45-31 in the second half, hitting 60 percent of their shots. They turned 26 Texas Tech turnovers into 23 points.

Alesha Robertson led the Lady Raiders (9-5) with 15 points and nine rebounds. Erin Myrick scored 11 points and Chesley Dabbs had nine, all on 3-pointers.
