LUBBOCK, Texas - Each week, texastech.com and goladyraiders.com will ask five questions of a Lady Raider basketball player or staff member. We continue this feature with a brief conversation with senior guard Rene Hanebutt, who is second on the Lady Raiders' squad in scoring and is Tech's major three-point shooter.

Q: What is your proudest moment as a Lady Raider?

A: Winning the Big 12 Championship last year, then winning the Big 12 Tournament.

Q: What is your favorite road trip ever?

A: The trip we took over the Christmas holidays to Hawaii earlier this season.

Q: What values were learned from being a Lady Raider that you can apply to the "real world"?

A: Working with different individuals, different personality types, learning to work in a group setting. My communication skills have really improved since I came to college.

Q: What will you miss the most when your collegiate basketball career is completed?

A: I'll miss practice. I love practice. I'll miss my teammates and being around Coach Sharp and all of the assistant coaches. I have a good relationship with them.

Q: What will you miss the least?

A: The time I have spent in the Rehab Center.

Q: Who is the toughest opponent you have faced (either in victory or losing)?

A: My freshman year when we had to go play Tennessee. Julie (Lake) and I were both freshmen, starting at that time. It was more like 'welcome to college basketball, Rene and Julie'."
