LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Marsha Sharp has announced that sophomore guard Judith Smith has been suspended indefinitely at the coaches' discretion.

Smith, a native of Long Beach, Calif., has appeared in 13 games with one start, averaging 9.8 minutes and 4.1 points per game this season.

As a policy, Sharp will not comment on this issue any further.
