LUBBOCK, Texas - Good seats are still available for first and second round games of the NCAA Women's Basketball Mideast Regional Saturday and Monday at the United Spirit Arena on the Texas Tech campus.

A ticket package good for all three games can be purchased for $15. Tickets may be purchased at the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office at the north end of Jones Stadium between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets may also be bought over the telephone by calling 1-888 GO BIG 12 or (806) 742-4412.

"Sales are going well, but we want to make sure we put our best foot forward as we move into the national level of competition," Tech athletic director Gerald Myers said. "We've sold out the $25 three-game package, but we are looking forward to having a full arena. One thing we know is Lady Raider fans are the best basketball fans in the country."

The first and second round games at the United Spirit Arena feature four conference champions. Vermont (25-5) won the America East Conference and will play Conference USA champ Tulane (26-4) in the first game Saturday. The second game Saturday features Big 12 regular-season champion Texas Tech (25-4) against Ohio Valley Conference champion Tennessee Tech (24-8).

The NCAA has not assigned game times for Saturday's contests, but Monday night's second-round game will tip off at 8:05 p.m.
