LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech freshman forward Nikki Hendrix has decided to leave the Lady Raider basketball program for personal reasons, according to an announcement today by head coach Marsha Sharp, who declined further comment on the matter.

Hendrix has appeared in 10 games for 11th-ranked Texas Tech, averaging 0.9 points and 0.6 rebounds per game. Hendrix will not be in uniform when the Lady Raiders open NCAA Tournament play Saturday against Tennessee Tech.
