VANCOUVER, B.C. - The Texas Tech women's basketball team improved to 3-0 on its tour of Canada with a 78-41 victory over the University of the Fraser Valley at the Envision Athletic Centre in the city of Abbotsford.

A new lineup was used for the third-straight night as Lindie Kimbro, Chynna Brown, Christine Hyde, Kierra Mallard and Teena Wickett started the game.

Antiesha Brown led the way for the Lady Raiders as she poured in a game-high 16 points. Mallard chipped in 13 points and Hyde added 10. Mallard and Haley Schneider both grabbed a game-high five rebounds, while Brown tallied a game-high seven steals.

Tech shot 43.2 percent from the field, hitting 32-of-74 shots, and snagged 36 rebounds. The Lady Raiders collected 31 steals as they forced 46 turnovers.

After playing three-straight games, Tech will have a two-day break before playing its last game on Sat., Aug. 14, at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, B.C., at 5:30 p.m. PDT.
