LUBBOCK, Texas - With a renewed excitement and enthusiasm in the air, Texas Tech basketball is starting to gear up for the 2011-12 season.
Texas Tech basketball tickets are on sale now and Red Raider fans can take advantage of a variety of seating options available for every game at the United Spirit Arena.
Season tickets are priced at $275 for the men and $175 for the women.
Additionally, fans can take advantage of other affordable options such as the Flex Plan and Family Plan. The "Flex Plan" for women's basketball includes 25 vouchers good for any home game for only $125, while the "Flex Plan" for men's basketball includes 25 home game vouchers (excludes Kansas, Texas A&M, and Texas) for only $150. Vouchers are good while supplies last and can be split across games.
The Family Plan is the best value platform available. For only $360 for the men's games and only $290 for the women's games, you are guaranteed four reserved seats in section 107 for all home games. Each additional pack is $90 for men and $72.50 for women.
In addition, fans will have the choice to purchase a 3-Point Option that provides enhanced benefits including exclusive access to Club Red -- a pre-game, halftime, and post-game grill and bar located on the east concourse of the United Spirit Arena, discounted parking, and first right to renew seats in subsequent years, along with email notification to advance purchase concert tickets. The additional cost per seat for the 3-Point Option is $150 per year and entitles the ticket holder to a discounted season parking permit for $100. Season parking for ticket holders not purchasing the 3-Point Option will be $150.
The 2011-12 basketball season finds the Red Raiders under the direction of first-year head coach Billy Gillispie and the Lady Raiders are led by Kristy Curry, who is in her sixth year as head coach. Gillispie, who is a four-time conference coach of the year honoree, has reignited the Red Raider program, while Curry has reloaded after leading Texas Tech to the NCAA Tournament in 2011.
The Lady Raiders open the regular-season at home against New Mexico on Nov. 11, while the Red Raiders have not finalized their non-conference schedule.
