LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletics Department has announced that 11 women's basketball games will be televised during the 2008-09 season.

The Lady Raiders will appear on FSN twice during Big 12 play, FSN Rocky Mountain (FSNRM) once and seven times on the Texas Tech Television Network (TTTN), while their game at New Mexico State will air on the Mountain West Sports Network.

Tech's home game with Baylor on Sat., Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. and its game at Nebraska on Sat., Feb. 14, at noon will both air on FSN. The game at Colorado on Wed., Jan. 28, will by on FSNRM at 8 p.m. CST. The Lady Raiders' seven games on the TTTN include: UNLV on Tues., Dec. 2, at 7 p.m.; UCLA on Mon., Dec. 29, at 7 p.m.; Kansas State on Wed., Jan. 21, at 7 p.m.; Oklahoma on Tues., Feb. 17, at 7 p.m.; Iowa State on Sat., Feb. 28, at 8 p.m.; at Oklahoma on Wed., March 4, at 7 p.m.; and Missouri on Sat., March 7, at 2 p.m. Tech's game at New Mexico is a 7 p.m. CST start.

All TTTN games will air on KMYL, My Lubbock TV. KMYL broadcasts on channel 14 both now and after the digital transition and will be on full power Digital channel 22.2. In addition, KMYL can be seen on Suddenlink channel 6, DISH Network Lubbock local channel 14 and in Hobbs, N.M., on channel 29.

The Lady Raiders will host two exhibition games on Sun., Nov. 2, against Melbourne Roos and Sun., Nov. 9, against the Houston Jaguars. Both contests start at 2 p.m. Tech tips-off the 2008-09 season at home on Fri., Nov. 14, at 5 p.m. versus Idaho. The game is a doubleheader with the men's team as the Red Raiders host Saint Francis (Pa.) at 8 p.m.
