LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Lady Raider Plenette Pierson will be the live chat guest tonight on espn.com at 5 p.m. CST.

Pierson, a sophomore forward/center out of Kingwood, Texas, made quite an impression in her freshman year. She started all 33 games and was named Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Year. She also was named one of 10 Freshman All-Amercians by The Women's Basketball Journal.

Pierson made an immediate impact on the Lady Raiders, scoring in double figures in 25 games. In the NCAA Tournament, she had 13 points and nine rebounds in a Sweet 16 win over Notre Dame and 10 points and eight rebounds in Tech's Elite Eight loss to Tennessee.
