LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women’s basketball team is preseason ranked 23rd by the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 coaches poll released Nov. 8. This is the fourth preseason ranking for the Lady Raiders as they were ranked 13th by the Women’s Basketball News Service, 15th by Athlon Sports College Basketball Magazine and 22nd by The Women’s Basketball Journal.

Two of Tech’s opponents this year and three possible opponents were selected as one of the top 25 teams by coaches, UCLA (fourth), Iowa State (seventh), North Carolina (eighth), LSU (14th), and Kansas (20th)
