LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team and head coach Kristy Curry are hosting a "Toys for Tots" event at the game against Texas-Arlington on Sun., Nov. 23, at 2 p.m.

Fans who bring a new unwrapped toy will receive one free general admission ticket.

"We want all of our fans to join us in giving back to the community of Lubbock," said Curry. "The Marines will be on hand to help us collect toys that will stay right here in the area."

People who have already purchased tickets are encouraged to help out the cause and donate toys as well.

A postgame autograph session with the Lady Raiders and members of the coaching staff will also take place on Sunday.

Tickets also can be purchased through the Texas Tech athletic website at www.texastech.com and at area United Supermarkets and Select-a-Seat locations. Group tickets as well as special Lady Raider birthday packages are also available.
