LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Texas Tech looks to ride the momentum of a season-opening, three-game winning streak when it faces Southern California at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Monday.

The 17th-ranked Lady Raiders (3-0) trounced Texas State, 102-44, Friday. The win was Texas Tech's 17th straight home victory.

Aleah Johnson, who leads the Lady Raiders with 17 points per game after averaging just 5.6 last season, scored a team-high 21 points Friday.

Five players scored at least 10 points for Texas Tech, which has had at least three players in double figures in each of its three games.

Plenette Pierson finished with 20 points and is Texas Tech's second-leading scorer with 15.3 per game. Keitha Dickerson, who leads the Lady Raiders with 11.3 rebounds per contest, had 11 points and 11 boards.

The Women of Troy (2-0) are coming off a 61-56 win over Creighton in their home-opener.

Tashara Carter led Southern California with 13 points and Ayeshia Smith added 12, but Denise Woods stole the show, converting a layup with 41 seconds remaining to secure the win.

Smith leads the Women of Troy with 23 points in two games.
