What To Watch For

  • This will be the 19th overall between the two programs with Texas Tech holding a14-4 advantage in the all-time series. The Lady Raiders have won 12 of the last 13 contests, dropping a 62-43 decision at Kansas on Jan. 25. Tech has not lost to Kansas at home since the first meeting between the two programs on Dec. 2, 1978 (76-53).

  • Texas Tech senior forward Jordan Barncastle was 2 of 3 from behind the 3-point line on Saturday to give her 44 total 3-pointers made on the season. That total matches her previous total from the last three years combined. Her 88 threes puts her just five behind Jordan Murphree for 10th all-time at Texas Tech in 3-point field goals made.

  • Junior guard Monique Smalls is second in the conference with 74 steals this season for Texas Tech, who leads all Big 12 teams with 287 steals. Smalls leads the Big 12 and is also third in the nation in assists-to-turnover ratio at 2.4. She also had 13 points on Saturday to lead Texas Tech, her highest output this season since scoring 13 vs Texas on Jan. 28.

  • Texas Tech continues to be one of the Big 12 leaders on the boards. Tech is second in the conference with 16.9 offensive rebounds per game and is third in conference play with a 69.4 defensive rebound percentage and 40.7 offensive rebound percentage.

  • Junior Casey Morris led Texas Tech in scoring on Feb. 15with 15 points. She hit 50 percent from the field in three of her last fourgames, scoring 15 against Texas A&M and 14 against Missouri. Morris ledTech with six defensive rebounds against Missouri to help hold the Tigers to just four offensive rebounds as a team.

    • Kansas will play the remainder of the 2011-12 season without leading scorerCarolyn Davis, who suffered a knee injury at Kansas State on Feb. 12.

    • SeniorAishah Sutherlandis recording 19.5 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game over the last four contests.

    • Sutherland appeared in her 122nd career game versus Missouri Saturday which tied for the ninth-most appearances in program history.

    • JuniorAngel Goodrichhas 200 assists so far in 2011-12 and needs eight more to break the school's single-season assist record.

    • Earlier this season the Jayhawks defeated then-No. 21 Texas Tech 72-63 on Jan. 15 and will search for their second series sweep of 2011-12 Tuesday. KU won both of its games versus Texas this year.

    • Despite a -3.6 rebound margin in Big 12 games, Kansas has out-rebounded three of its last four opponents, including a +14 mark at Kansas State on Feb. 12, which was single-game high for KU during conference play.

    • Five of KU's nine losses have been by six points or less.
