Texas Tech Moves to 19th in Lastest Poll

Lowrance, Hunt are Big 12's highest-rated golfers

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech University women's golf team is ranked 19th in the latest MasterCard Rankings, which is the final poll of the fall season.

Junior Brooke Lowrance and freshman Priscillia Hunt are the two highest ranked individuals in the Big 12 Conference. Lowrance, who finished tied for third in the final two events of the fall, is ranked 23rd, while Hunt is No. 31.

The Red Raiders are one of five Big 12 Conference schools ranked among the top 25. Oklahoma State is ninth, Texas A&M 15th, Texas 18th, Tech 19th, and Missouri 24th.

Texas Tech opens the season Feb. 14-16 at the UCLA Pioneer Electric Bruin Classic.
