Arvidsson, Bertelsen Lead Tech in Second Round|

MIAMI, Fla. - Texas Tech juniors Elin Arvidsson and Stephanie Bertelsen carded a pair of 1-over 72s on Tuesday to the lead the Lady Raiders in the second round of the Hurricane Invitational at Biltmore Golf Course.
Tech shaved off 11 strokes from its first round to finish with a 9-over 293 on the second day and 597 2-day total. That pushed the Lady Raiders up four spots into a tie for 10th with Daytona State College and Middle Tennessee.
Arvidsson, who teed off on No. 10 to start the day, found a more consistent game on Tuesday with 13 pars and two birdies. She managed to par her final three holes after a birdie on No. 5 and bogey on No. 6.
Bertelsen battled back after starting the day with two double bogeys on 10 and 15. She made birdies on 17 and 18 and then again on two of her last three holes to get back to 1-over par. The junior transfer moved up 15 spots individually and is tied for 26th heading into the final round on Wednesday.
Tech will tee off with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. EST (7 a.m. CST) in the final round on Wednesday on holes 9-11.
