LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's golf team finished tied for 14th at the Mountain View Collegiate held in Tucson, Ariz., and received a strong tournament from Jackie Smith who placed 18th.

The sophomore shot a final round 75 to finish five-over 221 for the tournament. It is Smith's lowest 54-hole total of the year and best finish as well.

Megan Dowdy carded a two-over 74 to place tied for 50th. Ulrika Van Niekerk improved three strokes in her final round shooting a three-over 75 to finish tied for 60th.

Rosalyn Kim shot her best round of the tournament in the final round. Her three-over 75 put her tied for 66th. Robyn Scott concluded the tournament with a six-over 78 in her final round. She shot a 234 for the tournament and finished tied for 72nd.

San Jose State University won the tournament with an 866. Tech shot a 909 for the tournament and tied for 14th.
