LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's golf shot a better round today but dropped to seventh place from sixth after round two at the 2001 Big 12 Tournament in Harvester, Iowa.

The team carded a round two 312 to tie with Texas A&M. Both teams are currently four strokes behind sixth place Kansas State. Missouri is in the lead shooting a 309 in round two. Amelia Moses of Missouri is leading the individuals with a score of 79 in round one and 79 in round two.

Priscilla Hunt moved into a tie for eleventh place after improving to a 76 after shooting an 83 in round one. Stephanie Dukes is currently tied for 18th after shooting a 83 yesterday and a 78 today. Jennifer Newhouse shot a 79 today after shooting a 89 yesterday. Jackie Ey is tied for 48th after shooting a 82 today and a 89 in round one. Tamara Munsch rounds out the Red Raider roster shooting a 94 in round one and improving to a 79 in round two.

Play will conclude tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. on the par-72 Harvester Golf Course.
