LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's golf team finished the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic in 17th place after shooting a team total of 918 during the two-day event.

Tech shot 303 as a team for the first two rounds of the tournament played on Monday and then carded a 312 over the final 18 holes.

Senior Megan Dowdy was the top Lady Raider with a total of 229 and a tie for 56th place. Sophomore Jackie Smith placed 60th with a 72-hole score of 230. Senior Ulrika Van Niekerk shot the low round of the tournament for Tech as she shot an opening round 73. She finished tied for 75th with a three round total of 236. Sophomore Alex Gibson and senior Gloriana Soto both shot a three round total of 236.

The Lady Raiders will be traveling Boulder, Colo., for the Colorado Heather Farr Memorial tournament on Sept., 29th and 30th.
