ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Texas Tech women's golf team enters the final round of the 24th Annual Comcast/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., with a 310-323-633 total, dropping five spots to 15th place.

Tournament host University of New Mexico remains atop the leaderboard for the second day with a 297-292-589 total. University of Washington and University of Oklahoma are tied for second, trailing eight strokes behind UNM.

Kim Kolb's even par 73 (81-73-154) leads the Red Raiders, pacing the sophomore 35 spots up the leaderboard to tie for 25th. Teammate Megan Hull struggled in the second round, shooting a 73-83-156 to sit in a seven-way tie for 42nd.

Freshman Calais Gardner also had difficulty in the second round of play, tying in 60th place with six other players after shooting a 76-84-160. Sheila Mendez of El Paso, Texas, tied for 73rd with an 80-83-163, while junior Jackie Ey finished with a 81-88-169 on the day to tie in 90th place.

The Red Raiders look to move up the leaderboard when the final round resumes Saturday morning at 8 a.m. on the par 73, 6,069 yards, UNM Championship Course.
