Arvidsson Shoots 67 To Push Tech Into Lead|
Elin Arvidsson tied her lowest career 18-hole total on Monday with a 67.

AUSTIN -- Texas Tech junior Elin Arvidsson fired a 3-under par 67 in the second round Monday to give the Lady Raiders a one-stroke lead at The Challenge at Onion Creek.
Tech finished the first two rounds at 22-over par (291-291--582) to lead Kansas by one, Miami (Fla.) by two and host Texas State by three strokes.
Arvidsson and newcomer Stephanie Bertelsen were tied for second place individually midway through the second round on Monday before Arvidsson made birdie on five of her final eight holes to get to 1-under par for the tournament. The 67 ties her lowest 18-hole total in her three-year career. Arvidsson shot a 67 in February at the Westbrook Spring Invitational.
Bertelsen finished Monday alone in fifth place (71-72--143) at 3-over and just four strokes back of her teammate.
Tech will play alongside Kansas and Miami (Fla.) in the final round, beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT on holes 1-4.
