LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's senior Ulrika Van Niekerk and junior Rosalyn Kim both sit in the top 10, after shooting a three-under 69 and one-under 71, respectively, at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown held at Las Vegas, Nev.

The Lady Raiders are four-under as a team and fell back in the pack after shooting 289 for the second round. Pepperdine is leading the tournament at 26-under after two rounds.

Van Niekerk improved by two shots after an opening round 70 and is 5-under 139 for the tournament. Kim has a 4-under 140 after the second round and is tied for 10th place.

Sophomore Alex Gibson carded a second round four-over 76 and dropped into a tie for 38th place. Sophomore Jackie Smith stayed consistent in the second round shooting a two-over 74 and is tied for 58th place and senior Megan Dowdy is tied for 68th after a three-over 75.

The Lady Raiders conclude the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown tomorrow with the final round to begin at 8 a.m.
