LAS VEGAS -- The Texas Tech women's golf team finished off its final fall tournament with a second place showing at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown at Stallion Mountain Golf Club.

The tournament was shortened to 36 holes after weather kept the teams from competing on Monday.

Tech (292-289--581) tied with No. 23 Central Florida and host UNLV.

The Lady Raiders were led by junior Elin Arvidsson and sophomore Kimmy Hill who finished in the top five for the second time this fall, placing third and fifth, respectively.

"I'm really proud of the team for the fight they showed in the last round," head coach JoJo Robertson said. "Some of the things that we've talked about all season that needed attention were things we did well in the final holes that really moved us up the leaderboard. Congratulations to Elin and Kimmy for great rounds and a great finish."

Arvidsson (70-71--141) closed out strong with a birdie on the 17th hole to finish 1-under in her final round and 3-under total. It was her fourth round under par this fall, bringing her average score to 73.7 in 11 rounds.

Kim (74-69--143) fired the second-lowest round of the day on Tuesday with a 3-under 69 to tie Nebraska's Cassie Deeg in fifth.

Arvidsson and Hill finished 1-2 at The Challenge at Onion Creek in Austin on Oct. 1.

Junior Stephanie Bertelsen finished off her first semester in a tie for 26th (72-76--148) while senior Hannah Arnold (76-73--149) finished in a tie for 35th and redshirt freshman Victoria Uresti (77-81--158) finished tied for 78th.
