LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's golf team will play in its second tournament of the season at the Salt Creek Golf Course for the Aztec Invitational being held in Chula Vista, Calif.

The Lady Raiders will try to rebound after a 15th place finish at the Lady Puerto Rico Invitational last weekend. The Aztec Invitational has four teams ranked in the top 50 of the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings including Colorado (32), Colorado State (50), San Jose State (30) and UC-Irvine (23).

Texas Tech's lineup for this week changes slightly from last weekend. Megan Dowdy is the team's No. 1 after placing tied for 60th. Ulrika Van Niekerk will play in the No. 2 spot after finishing 65th.

Rosalyn Kim placed 60th last weekend and is the No. 3 player while Alex Gibson was the top Lady Raider last weekend tying for 47th place.

Jackie Smith will be making her spring debut. Smith carded a 77.1 average during the fall season.

The Lady Raiders will begin competing a 7 a.m. PST on Sunday and live results of the tournament can be found at www.golfstat.com or www.goaztecs.com.
