LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech completed the first two rounds of the NCAA Central Invitational Monday and stands in 10th place with one round to play at the Wilderness River Country Club in Parrish, Fla.

Jackie Ey (San Antonio, Texas) leads the Red Raiders with a two-round total of 153 and is tied in 15th place, but is only four shots off of the tournament lead. Sheila Mendez (El Paso, Texas) is tied in 34th with a 159, while Kim Kolb (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Megan Hull (Mansfield, Texas) are tied 44th and 51st with totals of 161 and 162. Hazel Tan (Sarasota, Fla.) also is tied in 51st place.

Baylor's Melanie Hagewood and Hanna Svenningsson and Ohio State's Kristen White each shot five over par and lead the tournament.

Baylor leads the event by five strokes over Ohio State, Kansas State and Missouri, who all are tied in second place. Michigan and Nebraska are fifth and sixth, respectively, while Kent State and Texas A&M are tied in seventh place. Tournament host Michigan State is in ninth place followed by the Lady Raiders.

Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Iowa State round out the top 15.

The event wraps up with an 8 a.m. shotgun start Tuesday.
