The Texas Tech women's golf team is in 12th place after two rounds of the eighth annual Verizon "Mo"Morial Tournament in Houston, Texas.

The Raiders shot a combined score of 647 on the 6,032-yard, par 72 Pine Forest Country Club course. The team shot a first round of 315 and dropped to 332 the second round, leaving the team within 13 shots of seventh place. First place Indiana shot a combined score of 603.

Stephanie Dukes leads the Red Raiders tying for 21st with a score of 156. Jennifer Newhouse shot a 160, tying her for 41st. Tamara Munsch shot 164, tying her for 57th. Priscilla Hunt ends the second round with a score of167, tying her for 68th. Allison Louth makes her first spring season appearance with a score of 169, tying her for 76th.

The field consists of 17 teams of which nine are ranked in the top 50. Six big 12 schools are competing with Oklahoma leading in second place.

Final round action begins 8:00 a.m. Tuesday with 18 holes being played.
