BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - Heavy rains and lightning washed out the second round of the LSU-Fairwood Invitational on Saturday. Play was held twice at 8:30 and 10 am in an effort to let thunderstorms in the area move by. The decision to cancel was made at 12:45 pm.

The tournament, now reduced to 36 holes for the first time since 1993, will be concluded Sunday with an 18-hole round. An 8:30 shotgun start is scheduled and admission will be free.
