Red Raiders Ready To Defend Title April 2, 1999 LUBBOCK, Texas - The defending champion Texas Tech women's golf team will begin play in the Utah-Dixie Classic on Monday, April 5 with 27 holes at the par 72, 5927 yard Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah. The Red Raiders won last year's event with a two-day total of 606. Tech's Jamie Vannoy tied for medalist honors with a three-over-par 147. Brooke Lowrance also finished in the top 10 with a 149 which placed her in a tie for 5th. Priscilla Hunt tied for 11th place at 151. Tech is coming of a 15th place showing at the LSU-Fairwood Invitational on March 14. Vannoy was the Red Raiders top finisher and tied for 26th overall. The two-day tournament will conclude with 27 holes on Tuesday, April 6. Utah-Dixie Classic Field:
