Lubbock, Texas - Tech women's golf is in second place after two rounds at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Norman, OK. Tech shot a 293 in round one and finished with a 297 in round two. Tech is nine strokes behind 10th-ranked Oklahoma University.

Stephanie Dukes fired a 136 (68,68) with an eight under par effort to place her in first place. This is Duke's career best 36. She leads Oklahoma's Allison Johnson by six strokes. Priscilla Hunt is tied for 19th shooting a 153 (80,73) at nine over par, her best 36 of the season.

Jennifer Newhouse shot a 154 (78, 76) with a 10 over par effort. Tamara Munsch is tied for 29th shooting a 156 (81,75) at 12 over par. Allison Louth shot a 166 (85, 81) at 22 over par to tie for 71st. This is Louth's career best 36. Jackie Ey is tied for 78th shooting a 172 (86,86) with a 28 over par effort.

Other Big 12 schools standings are Kansas State in third, Baylor in fourth and Nebraska in fifth.

The Red Raiders will tee off tomorrow, playing 18 holes, to conclude the tournament.
