AMES, IOWA - The opening round of the Big 12 Women's Golf Championships was pushed back a few hours Thursday due to heavy rain and cold temperatures forecasted for the Rhodes, Iowa area.

Texas Tech was originally scheduled to open the three-day, 54-hole tournament at 9:20 a.m. Friday morning but will now tee off at 12:50 p.m. alongside Baylor and host Iowa State.

The Lady Raiders will likely have to battle cold conditions all weekend with temperatures forecasted for the upper 40s to low 50s. Rain is also possible all three days as well.
