Lady Raiders After First Big 12 Championship at The Rawls Course.

The Texas Tech women's golf squad begins play at The Rawls Course after its first Big 12 Championship in school history tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. Tech's lineup has some similar faces playing this weekend. Rosalyn Kim has been the best player this spring as she has recorded three top 10 finishes. Kim had her best finish of the year at the Canes & Cardinal Classic, where she finished fourth. Megan Dowdy has had the best scoring average for the Lady Raiders at 75.6. She had her best finish of the spring at the Aztec Invitational tying for ninth. Playing the No. 3 position will be Alex Gibson. The sophomore has a season average of 77.2 with a low round of 73 at the UNLV Invitational. The No. 4 spot for the Lady Raiders is occupied by Gloriana Soto. The senior as a low score of 73and her best finish was 17th at the McHaney/Morehead hosted by Texas Tech. Jackie Smith will play the No. 5 spot this weekend. Smith has played extremely well in the last two tournaments as she led the team at the Mountain View Collegiate finishing tied for 18th. The Lady Raiders will begin play at 8 a.m. and tee off at 10 minute intervals tomorrow morning. Rounds two and three will follow on Saturday and Sunday.
