LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Lady Raider golfer Kim Kolb (Sioux Falls, S.D./O'Gorman) shot a 76 and finished in second place at Fossil Creek Golf Club in Fort Worth, Texas, to qualify for the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championships June 17-22 at Ocean Hammock Golf Club in Palm Coast, Fla.

Kolb finished the 2002-03 season with a 78.3 stroke average and turned in her highest career finish and first top 10 finish with a second-place showing at the Berning Classic in Norman, Okla. Kolb improved her game by a stroke from her freshman to sophomore seasons.
