LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's golfers Megan Dowdy and Jackie Smith each qualified for the United States Golf Association Publinks tournament at Erin Hills Golf Club in Erin, Wis., June 16-21. Dowdy will make her third-straight appearance at the event, while Smith is returning for a second-straight year.

Dowdy shot a 78 in the single-round qualifier at Canyon Creek Golf Course in Richardson, Texas, last week to claim the third and final qualifying position. Dowdy was one of the Lady Raiders' top golfers during the season, helping lead the team to an NCAA Central Regional appearance in Austin in early May.

Smith also took the third and final qualifying spot at her qualifier at River Ridge Golf Club in Sealy, Texas. She posted a 76 to advance.
