LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech golfer Elin Arvidsson will tee off at the 109th British Open Amateur Championship Tuesday at the Carnoustie Course in Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland.

Arvidsson, a Falkenberg, Sweden native, is the third Lady Raider to hit the amateur circuit this summer, joining Gabby Dominguez and Kim Kaufman, who completed the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship last week in New Jersey.

She will face a similar format that her two teammates did as the British Open Amateur Championship will feature two 18-hole rounds of stroke play on Tuesday and Wednesday with the top 64 players advancing to match play.

The Carnoustie Course has hosted several of the world's top tournaments in recent years, including the Open Championship and the 2011 Women's British Open.

The match play format runs Thursday through Saturday afternoon. Fans can keep up with the scoring throughout the week at the Ladies' Golf Union website or at
