July 2, 2014
A total of 664 women's golfers from Divisions I, II and III were recognized with this prestigious honor this year. Student athletes must have a minimum cumulative 3.50 GPA to be considered for the selection.
"This is such a great honor for both Hannah and Stephanie," head coach JoJo Robertson said. "It's always good to see your student athletes not only rewarded for their hard work on the golf course but in the classroom, as well."
Arnold finished her final season at Tech this past spring with a tie for 13th at the Big 12 Conference Championship in Austin (75-74-74--223) and currently has a 3.81 cumulative GPA in the classroom as she works toward finishing her bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science this December at Tech.
Bertelsen was the top finisher for Tech at the Big 12 Championship with an 11th place finish at 5-over par (70-76-75--221). She ended her first season at Tech with three top 15 finishes and two top 10 finishes after transferring from Texas Western College in the fall of 2013. Bertelsen currently has a 3.62 cumulative GPA as she works toward her bachelor's degree in general business.
